The knife switches that I use to vary the length
of my transmission line are snap, cracklin', and
poppin'. In this high humidity region of Texas,
I am not sure that charged-particle static ever
occurs. However, I am absolutely sure that it
sometimes occurs in Queen Creek, AZ, where I
lived for 11 years.
