Dear Jim,
Is this radio dual-conversion?
I thought that, for proper DRM reception, the output had to be 12 kHz.
Am I incorrect? What would you need to receive DRM with this receiver?

455 khz I.F. output for DRM (Why they made it a PAL connector, I'll never
know)
The 455 kHz IF output is a plus, not just for DRM but for any software
defined radio IF/demod. With software, you can demodulate AM/SSB/CW/FM
and digital modes, have incredible variable bandwidth, shiftable IF
filtering, noise reduction, improved AGC, spectrum display, etc.
You need a 12 kHz or so IF to do the above via a conventional computer
sound system and, consequently, a down converter between the 455kHz
output and the computer. I guess that would make it a triple-conversion
supehet receiver (if you don't count the A/D and D/A converters in the
computer sound system!).
