Default Of course this newsgroup doesn't matter. Usenet is dead.

One last time, Mark. You are a nobody. A nonentity.
You don't count.

Usenet itself doesn't matter any more and is slowly going the way of
the dinosaurs. Look at these newsgroups as an example of why real
radio discussion is carried on elswhere. People like Mark are like
the squatters which still inhabit an otherwise abandoned city.

Want to keep up with amateur radio policy and activities? You need to
go to a web site these days, perhaps http://www.qrz.com or
http://www.arrl.org. Have something for sale or trade? The pages of
http://www.qth.com may hold the answer for you. If not, you can
always go to Ebay.

Is there a specialized topic that interests you? Again, if you want
to discuss something while remaining unmolested by the Mark Morgans of
the world, you probably will find what you want on the web. I find
extremely useful broadband information at http://broadbandreports.com
that simply can't be found on Usenet at all.

Usenet is basically a wasteland which is very close to death. Even
AOL realized that was the case and shut down its own news servers a
couple of years ago.

Mostly misfits remain on Usenet, and they'll remain here until some
admin somewhere finally pulls the plug on the last nntp server. Until
that time, attention seekers like Mark Morgan will continue to provoke
anyone they can into paying attention to them.

And people like me will oblige by making fun of Mark. It is, after
all, what he really wants.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
