The Big-8 Management Board has decided by consensus to remove the
newsgroup
rec.radio.shortwave. Voting began on 23 Jul 2006, and ended on 24
Jul 2006.
This group will be removed on 31 Jul 2006.
RATIONALE: remove rec.radio.shortwave
The last on topic month was March 1995.
There are other more suitable means of discussing short wave
propagation,
so rec.radio.shortwave is not a suitable candidate for conversion to
a
moderated newsgroup.

the first
message posted in August 1988.
