I have a DA100D, purchased in 1988. Works fine, but I couldn't tell
you if it is the greatest amplified antenna ever. (A full-size wire
antenna is definitely better.)

That's a DA-100 (no suffix).


Right, mine has plastic side panels; the one for sale has wood side
panels and a different paint color, so it would be several years
earlier in vintage, probably early 80s or late 70s. Coax might be
cooked if it was outside a lot.
