Just got a Goldline mic myself. It was part of a package deal that included
the boom stand, shock mount and foot switch. Really a very nice set up. I
have always wanted this combo and am not sorry that I ordered it. The boom
sure makes it easy to get the mic where you want it, between radios and
computers. The shock mount I guess would not be necessary but makes it very
easy to mount the mic to the boom, besides it looks cool. The foot switch I
think is just about a must, vox works okay but the switch is very well made
and works really well. Just my 2 cents worth.
