The judicial system isn't under discussion and radio amateurs aren't
under discussion. ARRL elections are under discussion. The ARRL has a
system which has worked for decades. Carl was recused--for a long time.
Is amateur radio more important than the judicial system that
you have to refuse top notch talent so that a conflict can never occur?
The judicial system wasn't under discussion. When you start "Brian's
Amateur Radio League" feel free to set the by-laws up anyway you like.

Show some integrity and recuse yourself.
