Hmmm...always in defense of "Jim" comes "Dave."
It isn't so, Len. Jim and I are friends. We remain friends despite our
lack of agreement on politics. Jim acts civilly, tells a good story and
has a great sense of humor.
Dave and I are friends, too. We remain friends despite our
lack of agreement on some political issues. Dave acts civilly, tells a
good story and
has a great sense of humor. The Jimmy Carter comment was a classic.
so then how do you 2 remain friends
Good question! :-)
It's really very simple:
Our friendship is not based on absolute agreement on every subject.
Rather it is based on mutual respect and tolerance for differing points
of view. Differences are dealt with by looking at the issues rather
than attacking the other person over his name, ethnicity, religion,
geographic location, education, etc., just because he disagrees on
something and expresses that disagreement.
It is like they are "joined" somehow.
Mutual respect is the primary connection.
Are you and Brian joined? Brian defends you. You defend Brian. You
both have Mark Morgan agreeing with you to the best of his abilities.
get help dave
I don't think psychiatric science is far enough advanced to
help him.
What help is needed? Dave seems to have a very good life.
It doesn't help Robesin and he says he works in
a hospital!
Who is "Robesin"?
