Is DSB with carrier still used on the ham bands?. I recently dug an old
transmitter I made back in 1970. The plans at the time was set up a low
power AM FCC licensed radio station operating in the broadcast band. We
had no idea what we were doing except we got the transmitter built. For
grins and giggles I fired the thing up and it works just fine. Is
anything still happening on 160m AM. I lose track of whats going on
because I am in and out of radio these days. over the last few years
mostly out
Also look between 3.80 and 3.85 MHz. You'll find lots of AMers there.

Thanks Walt, do you think I can do much with 20 watts. I undestand those
guys use max legal power and then some.
