Also look between 3.80 and 3.85 MHz. You'll find lots of AMers there.

I think it depends a lot on how high the noise level is. Son Bill, W2WM, in my
town DeLand, FL, is using all Collins, 75A-4 rcvr and 32V-3 xmtr. He's been
trying to get in on 3.80 MHz for several days--unsuccessful with 100 w input,
but hoping. Son Rick, W8KHK, in Marietta, GA, also all Collins, with 75A-4 rcvr
and 32V-2 xmtr, but not on the air with them yet. Hopefully next week.
