I heard the same thing on some of the radios out there, however..the
706MKII-G doesnt seem to have this problem...works fine on 60 and no
problems with heating..been doing it for months on 60. But your

because the local snow plowers in the area use that band and I work

them. I've got my 706's mounted in my trucks and I'd rather not mount

If my scanner would cover this band, that would be fine but, my mobile
scanners don't cover CB..
