Does anyone using DSL/broadband noticed any problems from QRN

I am thinking to upgrade my connection into ADSL 768/124
Zach,
I have an ASDL wired network with the router/modem (Linksys AG401)
and switch (SMC 6505TX) in the same room as my RX. I have two 30 ft
runs of CAT5 cable which more or less parallel my indoor wire which
runs in the picture rail. I detect no difference in background noise
or QRN between the router being on or off.
My two sources of interference are the switch mode PSU for my HP
6620 networked printer and from my Samtron 76E monitor. I have only
recently returned to amateur radio after a 40 year break so am still
working on these niggles. Solving the printer PSU problem is as
simple as unplugging it but the monitor may well be more
complicated, especially if it is radiated from the deflection coils
rather than mains borne. Does anyone know if TFT monitors are
quieter at RF?
Charlie.
