P'va had mine about a month and the 2100 works well . The 220 to 115
volt
ranvery warm so I went to the dollar and purchased a cheapo C oby ac
adapter
for 3 dlrs plus tax. The radio works much better with this as does the
builtin
charger for nicads in the radio. I's just precautionay but I'd rather
not chance a fire. I did toss the transformer. The2100 makes anoce
nightstand radio with decent reception onthe whip andvery nice audio

Fortunately mine came in English and ready for 115 VAC-with the reputed
battery life, I just run on batteries. (I try not to leave any of those wall
warts plugged in anyway)
I emailed tquchina and asked about the RP3000 they're supposed to be
releasing. Not 'till mid-2007.
