Default FS: 1960's KLH TWENTY-FIVE 25 Oak Console Stereo - Pickup N Carolina

FS: 1960's KLH TWENTY-FIVE 25 Oak Console Stereo - Pickup N Carolina

For sale is a very nice 1960's vintage, KLH model Twenty-Five console
stereo. Made of solid oak, not oak veneer. I removed the side speaker
doors and main turntable/radio unit to reduce weight, for moving and
taking pictures. Most of cabinet in very nice shape with a few nics and
scratches.. nothing major. This is a small compact console.. not like
most of the larger, wide consoles seen in the 70's. Dimensions are
approx 27"H x 32"W x 15"D. Being solid oak, the complete stereo is
pretty heavy.. probably around 100 - 120 lbs. The front doors open to
LP/record storage area which is about 16"H x 17"W x 14"D.

The turntable/FM radio unit is in very clean condition. Turntable by
Garrard works great. FM picks up OK, however the amp section is only
playing strong on the Right channel.. therefore unit will need some
minor repair to get playing thru Left channel. Could be dirty
pots/contacts or some bad capacitors but will leave to new owner to
repair.

All lettering around the FM/Amp controls are clear and intact. Some of
the lettering and symbol on the actual turntable changer has worn away.
Both the single and stackable type steel spindles are included. Back of
unit has input jacks for Record and Aux. Speaker output jacks allow
connection to external speakers.

The built-in speakers are equivalent of KLH model 24 speakers and work
perfectly. In excellent cosmetic shape! Side doors open to direct and
reflect sound.

One of these rare KLH 25 consoles just sold on Ebay for $660 + shipping
! Will sell this for $150 firm, cash only. Pictures available. Must be
picked up in Chapel Hill, NC. Serious buyers only.
