I used a 1000 for awhile. I loved the performance of the unit. Using the 3rd
party software was fantastic, much more so that the supplied ICOM
application.

But as far as the 100, never used it. Just keep in mind using a PC to
control a unit like that was kinda novel, but make sure the PC doe not ooze
RF from it.

It works pretty well, not the best radio..but certainly worth the money.
