From the Southern tip of Africa, a very happy Christmas to all. Enjoy a
lovely family day of love and sharing.
Because BBC didn't broadcast the beautiful Festival of nine lessons and
carols to Southern Africa this year I am listening to it on the web as I
type this in the early morning.
Alas, our children are far away today, but they will phone in with Christmas
messages later.
Being high summer here, it will be a hot day with clear skies and the
African sun scorching down with temps of 95F/35C expected.
Reception on all the bands this morning were abysmal, hence the listening on
the web.
Later this morning we will go to Mass and then in the cool of the evening
our neighbours have invited us to Christmas dinner of turkey and other fare.
