NOTE: With (Matching) Transformers "Baluns" it is the "Ratio" of the Squares
of the Number of Turns that 'defines' the "Ratio" of the Matching
Transformer.

Here are some straight math common examples:

* One to One "1:1" = (1X1) : (1X1) = 1 Turn to 1 Turn



A 3:1 balun would have a Turns Ratio of 1.7320508 Turns to 1 Turn


* Four to One "4:1" = (2X2) : (1X1) = 2 Turns to 1 Turn

* Nine to One "9:1" = (3X3) : (1X1) = 3 Turns to 1 Turn

Nine-to-One (9:1) Balun.
Primary (Antenna) Turns to Secondary (FeedLine) Turns.
21 Turns to 7 Turns

OR
30 Turns to 10 Turns

OR
42 Turns to 14 Turns




First: Use large enough wire for the Primary (Antenna) Windings to
cover 85%-99% of the ferrite rod's area. Or, "Space Evenly" the Primary
Windings 'far enough apart' to cover 85%-99% of the
ferrite rod's area.

Second: Wind the Secondary Windings over the Primary
Windings. Use the same size wire "Spaced Evenly" to wrap
the Secondary Windings to cover 85%-99% of the Toroid's
Area.
