Au contraire. It happens all the time. You must have led a -very-
sheltered life if you have never heard of women purposely getting
pregnant to force a man into marriage (although not applicable in this

I would politely suggest you look at the facts:

1) His (second?) wife's body had barely assumed room temperature before
they got married.

2) He was distraught over her death, possibly not thinking too clearly.

3) I'm sure it was a play to his ego that a 20 year old was 'interested'
in him (little head thinking for big head?)

Yes, exactly the point! But don't you think it a wee bit suspicious that
they are going to "spend the *rest of their lives* together" based on
knowing each other in person for only a few weeks?

I truly wish them the best, but I'm sorry, but it just has -all- the
hallmarks of a green card/gold digger job.

P.S. I felt this way when I first heard of the situation, but the
statement at the time that "she doesn't want to/has no interest in going
to the USA" held me back. Well, that "no USA" didn't last very long, did it?
