Default Radio Help Needed

The most sensitive FM and MW portable radio under $200 currently on the
market is the Redsun RP2100/Kaito 2100. It's great on SW too.
Having recommended that I hasten to say that FM radio is line of sight and
that it is unlikely that ANY radio will pick up an FM station 93 miles away
over mountains.
MW over that distance should be great though, as of course would be SW, the
signals of which travel over vast distances.
I live in a valley shielded by high mountains and can get reasonable
reception of FM stations 60 miles away over the mountains, but I would think
that is just about the limit.

TIA
I am looking for a table sized clock radio with an earphone jack. I
have spent many hours researching with my limited knowledge, for the
right radio and just realised there was your newsgroup. I know
newsgroup people are passionate about their stuff. I would be
willing to trade your knowledge for anything you ever wanted to know
about Kona Coffee or farming in Hawaii etc.

This is what I want and I need your help because I am a farmer and not
a radio guru. I want a radio cappable of getting an FM station from
93 miles away (the closest NPR station I have) and I live in a remote
rural area with mountains and valleys. I have looked at Sangean,
Eton, Tivoli, Boston etc. but I can not make my decision. I am
willing to spend up to $200.

Can you make me any recommendations? I honestly don't know if I need
a short wave even. Sorry.

Again thanking you in advance for any information you can give me or
for a direction you can steer me in.
