I was thinking since my redsun is basically DOA (I'll take it apart
maybe....) that I'd get a new 1103 and attach speakers to it. Anyone
ever try it and compair the sound to a larger radio? Would the AC for
speakers interfere with the reception at all ? Thanks
I don't think that attaching speakers of any size will give very good
results.
The 1103 speaker on its own isn't bad given the fact it's an $80
radio, but I respectfully disagree with the above; I've used the 1103
as a stereo tuner run through an amplifier and it sounded excellent-
no hum or static on FM and more than adequate on AM, And I have a
pair of Klipsch Pro Media 2.0 speakers hooked up to the line out on
the 1103 and, given the setup, is hard to beat for price and
performance.
