Default Hooking Up Long Wire Antenna To Eton E1

Once you get the PAL to F adapter, you can run RG6 (CATV coax available
at Radio Shack) to your antenna. The impedance of a random wire wire
varies considerably over the shortwave spectrum so you shouldn't worry
too much about impedance matches, but a 4:1 or 9:1 balun or matching
transformer between the antenna and the coax will help things some and
will allow you to put a ground to earth right near the antenna. You
could also put a 1:1 transformer between the coax and the radio and
that will help to keep down any common mode noise that may be picked up
by the antenna coax.

i know i have to get the pal to F connector adapter, but once that's in
place, how do i hook it up actually?
