The Degen 1103 is a decent sensitive portable, though the plastic nightstand
on the back of mine broke off after six months. This would have never
happened with a DX-440 or Sony 2010 which had solid materials. That being
said the Degen 1103 is still a good buy.

Hello, this is my first post here and I have been looking for a decent
SW/SSB reciever for the beginner and casual user. Are these radios any
