I don't know if they still carry them, but Radio Shack used to have
one that had a slot that fit on the top of your car window and was
held in place by rolling your window all the way up. You attach your
own rubber duck antenna to the window end, externally of course, and
the other end to your scanner. It works very well.
I think the cost was in the $10 to $15 range.
