Default What in your opinion is the most underestimated receiver around?

Boston Acoustics Receptor HD.

HD doesn't work very well but this is an exceptional analog radio.

- Fantastic selectivity, both AM and FM. *Indeed, while listening to
analog stations the Receptor HD is nearly immune to interference from
adjacent-channel HD stations.
- Excellent sensitivity.
- Excellent audio quality.
- Shows RDS on FM.

Downsides:
- Self-interference problem on AM. *Requires outdoor antenna for good AM
reception.
- Not enough audio output power.
- Way too expensive!

Pretty expensive for ugly, Chinese-made junk, with 2" speakers - I'll
stick to my $10 Sony ICF-S10MK2, thanks ! If you bought this piece of
junk, you should be proud of yourself, for supporting the HD Radio
Cartel, in destroying the broadcast bands with IBOC. Looks like,
consumers don't give a damn, about this farce and fraud:
