And what does all this have to do with amateur antennas? 
 
 It means that this will screw up propagation forcasting 
 which many of us depend on for dxing. 
 
 Like I said, what does it have to do with antennas? 
 
Perhaps the group should be renamed to "Antennas and Propagation", 
just like the IEEE professional interest one?  HF ionospheric 
propagation has been a consistent topic of discussion in this 
group over the years, particularly in regards to propagation- 
prediction computer programs such as VOACAP.  The demise of 
of an organization that provides the input parameters (solar 
flux, sunspot numbers) for these programs affects their 
utility.
