It's the most retarded PC interface to a radio that I've seen in a
very long time.

It was enough to make me decide that I wouldn't buy that particular
radio. Decent programmability (memory upload/download at the very
least) is a must!

I don't know what the engineers at Icom were smoking when they
designed that but I'm thinking of calling them to see if they saved me
some. :-)
