Default B and K Dynaquik 500 Tube tester, schematic.

As a senior retiree I am 'Elmering' a 15 year old enthusiast (who as a
young newcomer to the hobby much to be encouraged, one would think).
He has a keen interest in things 'tube'. He is also working towards
his ham licence and is enthusiastic and becoming somewhat capable
about electronics in a variety of areas. He's collected several
interesting radios including a Trans-Oceanic that somebody was
dumping!

Unfortuantely somebody 'sold' his parents (the youngsters Christmas
gift) at an excessive price a B and K Dynaquik 500, tube tester which
is not only somewhat used and very mouldy but also doesn't work!

When discovered not working the seller would not even make an partial
or full exchange for an A****er Kent the young man also had his eye
on.

Am therefore looking for somewhere to free-download a schematic. Have
tried BAMA and the mirror site, also Nostalgiaair. Unfortunately the
available schematics for other models (e.g. the 606) which I have
downloaded, are not same circuit.

Some Model 500 manuals are available; but at a cost of up to $38 US
plus mailing it's rather expensive concerning an already overpriced
unit that may have a major problem such as dud meter!

Any suggestions or other help would be warmly appreciated by both of
us.

If there is a more appropriate forum for posting this request I
apologise here for being 'Off Topic' and would appreciate direction.
