Perhaps we could work something out friend. I'm a fairly decent
asshole, and I need a good used Drake R8B, and you need somebody to
take your wife off yer hands. Does she chat? If I can get her to
leave you would you buy me a Drake R8B? Of course as soon as she
divorces you I will kick her to the curb. I already have a wife and I
don't really need another. I just got a lot of time on my hands, I
need a decent radio, and of course I'm always willing to help others
here on the board.
Kind regards,

My wife met somebody online late last year and fell in lust with him, so
she and I got a divorce which just became final.
The first night I laid here alone, sleep wouldn't come, so I turned on my
radio to see if anything could help. The first thing I noticed was that
the AM dial was full of stations. That was strange, because it was usually
full of buzzing. But the buzzing was gone now, and it had been replaced
with real radio stations! So I spent that first night tuning up and down
the AM band until I finally fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.
Now I'm sleeping fine, but my radio continues to amaze me with its full AM
band of clear stations every night. When she was here, she and her son
kept their televisions and their computers (complete with wireless mouse,
keyboard, and speakers) turned on 24/7. When they left, they took all
those noisy electronics with them.
I still have a computer, a router, a cable modem, and a television, but I
turn off the computer and television when I go to bed, and my router and
modem don't seem to make much noise or I would turn them off as well. It's
nice being in control of my own RFI for a change.
My radio listening is now AM 100% percent of the time. When she was here,
I'd try AM for a few minutes and then settle on FM before falling asleep.
But since she's been gone, I haven't run out of things to listen to on AM
yet, so my radio stays on AM all the time now.- Hide quoted text -
