Canada's CBC Begins Series on Censorship
Close to 20 different CBC radio programs this week will examine
political and other forms of censorship as a prelude to the Global
Investigative Journalism Conference in Toronto, May 24-27.
Examples of censorship past and present in politics, science and music
will be discussed daily by hosts and guests on programs of the
Canadian public broadcaster, particularly what's been going on in
Africa, Iran and what happened in the past in Nazi Germany.
