I agree - it should be on a web site - where more folks could have access
to
it for whatever reason.

Phonetic Alphabets (Alpha Bravo etc)
February 2007
There is a widely known alphabet Alpha Bravo ... Yankee Zulu.
Such alphabets, used for spelling things out over voice
links, are variously known as phonetic/radio/spelling/
telephone alphabets, and the term analogy alphabet is also
used. This collection currently includes alphabets for the
following languages:
English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese,
Italian, Romansh, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish,
Czech, Slovak, Polish, Hungarian, Croatian,
Serbo-Croat, Slovenian, Greek, Romanian, Turkish,
Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, Swahili, Kwanyama, Ndonga,
Afrikaans, Chinese and Esperanto.
You really ought to put this on a website instead, with each alphabet on
a
page, and an index page listing them all. A newsgroup posting isn't a
substitute for that.
While he's at it, he could post the alphabet (in alphabetical order):
