Hey gang don't forget, it's RADIO. I don't know how to break the bad
news to you all but about sixty years ago a new revolution came to
town called TELEVISION and people haven't been paying allot of
attention to the radio as they used to.
It's funny you should mention that...
Before the TV freeze was lifted, radio listening per capita was about 21
hours a week.
By 1970, when virtually every home had at least one TV set, radio listening
was.... 21 hours a week.
Today, after all the innovations starting with the 8-Trak, the cassettes,
CATV, CDs, the Internet, video games, computers, iPods and satellite to name
a few... average listening per person is 19 hours.
