The same company started simulcasting KTAR (AM) on FM in Phoenix, and 6
months later, the news / talk format was only on FM.


(That is what "slowly moving" means... a lengthy transition to get people
used to the idea of finding the station on FM, not AM).


Will never happen - KSL would lose too many listeners.


Why do you say that? When WTOP in Washington; DC, moved 100% from AM to FM,
the audience increased, especially in the sales friendly demographics under
age 55.

I'll let you know, when all 4,500 AM stations go dark - terrestrial
radio is dying and HD/IBLOCK will just accelerate its death.
