I heard that CW is now illegal anyway. This with the advent of the
Codeless Geek World on Ham Radio. Waste.


Illegal? I don't think so - just not "mandatory". There are still "code"
segments of the bands which - last I recall - weren't reissued or structured
differently. There are many code enthusiasts out there that will be using
those frequencies for some time yet - so I doubt the FCC completely blows it
off - yet. Maybe in time - but not immediately.
