While searching for information on a 10 meter beam on this group, I
got a reference to Manualmall at www.manualmall.com. I went to the
site, found the manual and ordered it with my credit card. After
submitting the data, I got a web page that said, "web page not
found". When I tried to call the number on the web site, I got a
phone company message that said, "If you want to make a call, hang up
and dial the number." When I tracked down the person at the address
listed at the web site, he told me that he had sold the business 2
years ago to some folks in Houston.

If this happened to me, I'd contact my credit card company immediately
and tell them everything you just told us. Maybe you didn't actually send
your credit card information anywhere but maybe you did -- to the bad guys.
