I agree.
I don't know the truth of the matter-whether Eduardo is real or a
talented imposter, and I do not agree with his market-driven, profit -
maximizing radio world, but if an imposter, he has certainly done his
homework. His posts have been well-composed and informative and he has
not sunk to the level of his foul-mouthed critics. DxEcch, alleged
collich graduate and holder of the prestigious Head Loser award,
always eager to spread dissention among the ranks, and add to the
word's total of nastiness, has been unable to disprove Eduardo's
existence but the malady lingers on.

Yep... dxAss has tried to even prove I do not exist, although someone with
my name answers 818 500 4321 any time he is in his office, so there must
either be a ghost or reality makes dxAss multiply himself by zero.

If I find any fault with Eduardo, it is in his tendency to dimiss
older people as irrelevant because they are outside his market
parameters. This highlights the difference between profit-maximizing
US broadcasters and public broadcasters such as the CBC, BBC, and PBS.

Remember, commercial stations play to two audiences... listeners, who can be
any age, and advertisers, who want specific ages. If over-55 is not desired,
then commercial radio can not serve it becasue nobody will pick up the
bills.

The public broadcasters have a mandate to serve all the people, not
just the profit-generators. This is unexpected, since Eduardo is
already on the verge of category oblivion.

I definitely understand why I am not in a target demo. I do not readily
respond to any advertising, and have fairly strong brand preference and
history. It would take more ads than it is worth to change my mind.
