Please wade through the S-Parameter analysis with me,
see for yourself, and suggest an alternative. The
Florida State web page says the energy involved in
wave cancellation is redistributed "somehow". Wave
cancellation is obviously not a simple reflection
from an impedance discontinuity because it does not
obey the reflection rules.
