SLING-SHOTS : For Use to Place Rigging Ropes
and Routing Antenna Wires
CARRY WEIGHTS : {It's Not Ammunition and You Are Not
Shooting "AT" Anybody.}
The little Pear or Tear Drop Shaped Lead Fishing
Weights work for me.
* SIZE :
The Greater the Distance the Heavier the Weight :
2 Oz, 4 Oz or 6 Oz - Combined with More Pull.
Keeps it 'about' There -or- Way Way Up There !
RUNNING LINE :
Monofilament Fishing Line is cheap and plentiful and
generally easy to work with and use. Some prefer
using Braided Dacron Fishing Lines for the Extra Pull.
* SIZE :
Usually an 8 Lb to 12 Lb Monofilament Line works OK
-or- a 20 Lb to 30 Lb Dacron Line will also work good
too. Remember this is your Starter Line which allows
you to Pull your Rigging Lines and then the Antenna
Wires into place. The smaller Starter Line makes it
easy to get it over a High Object and next attach it
to a Cord or Rope to be Pulled Up-and-Over the Object;
so they can be uses them to Rig the Wire -or- Pull the
Wire over the Object and into place.
LINE FEED REEL :
Since you are using Fishing Line a Fishing Reel is
one of the best devices to use for Line Storage and
Feed-and-Retrieval
TIP - GENERALLY AIM A LITTLE HIGH -and- if that does
not work for you . . . Aim A Lot Higher ! ;-}
Caution - Point Away from People and Objects of Value.
Oops ! - If You Aim At It You Will Hit It Ouch $ $ $
Remember - If at First You Don't Succeed . . .
Take Aim and shoot, Shoot. SHOOT Again !
Beyond the Slingshot is the use of a medium size Cross-Bow
for both the Extra Height and Better Placement Accuracy at
a range beyond 50 Feet Up-and-Away.
WARNING - A CROSS-BOW CAN BE A PERSON KILLER
AND IS JUST AS DANGEROUS AS A HAND GUN IN THE
HANDS OF A CHILD; OR STUPID OR DRUNK ADULT [.]
TIP - If you have not taken a Hunter Safety Course :
Stay Away Form The Cross-Bow - It Is A Real Weapon [.]

What should I use for ammunition?
I need something I could attach a string to.
Do you just tape it to something round/heavy?
I notice the slingshot sites sell marbles
- though I might want something less damaging,
in case it falls on a neighbor's car.
I'm thinking of using floss for the string
(cheap and very light).
