Precisely how were you duped (deceived or tricked) and by who. The
Grundig advertisements and pictures of the radio show exactly what it
has. They didn't for instance say that it had 5 filters, IF shift and
synchronous detection.
I bought a Grundig S350 because the
Grundig name was on it.
Did the Grundig name ever much other than large radios known for
delivering mellow audio?
Somehow I missed the Eton part on it as well.
What bearing does the Eton name have on the reception qualities of the
radio labeled Grundig. The Grundig name is just that and nothing
more. It has been traded around several times like the brand names of
many other consumer goods.
It is remarkably underwhelming.
What exactly were you expecting from a low priced radio with a minimum
of controls. If Dx performance is important don't you read reviews or
ask questions before plunking down money? C'mon...
So now I'm looking for something more
substantial. The ICOM IC-R75 looks like a decent unit, at least judging
by specs. Before I plunk down the cash, can someone with experience
with the ICOM IC-R75 comment on it's performance?
Consider reading the reviews on Hamnet and Naswa journal.
