The HQ-180 has recently gone for $655 and as high as $1725 on
eBay...Hope it plays as good as that!

The HQ-170 plays like a $200 radio with a great tunable if. The HQ-180
plays like a $400 radio.

But, these are just my opinion - totally subjective. Hope I do not hurt any
HQ-170 fans' feelings.
