Just out of idle curiosity, when did the FCC discontinue UHF CB?
I haven't seen any reference to it for some years so I assume it must
have been discontinued.


Renamed and reorganized. FRS is one of the Citizens Band radio services,
which uses UHF. GMRS is the old "Class A" CB, just renamed; but still
remains one of the "Personal Radio Services"
