Just returned from factory servicing. Four finals replaced and bias
resistors balanced. I got 500 watts out for about 20 watts in. Just to
make sure you know it- MAXIMUM input on this amp is about 25 watts. Most
folks try to pour the coal to it at 100 watts, and that will fry the
transistors everytime, so make sure you back your drive down before turning
the amp on.... the amp is rated for 500 watts out, so whatever drive it
takes to accomplish that, stop right there! On 10M and 12M, the highest you
may see will be 450 watts. No band switching. Filter kit available or MFJ
LP filter also available.
Great little light amp with single muffin fan (really quiet.)
