Default Typical Socialists

One thing that I remember from my college days as a student
marxist/socialist activist, was that we were taught that calling
people names, swearing, using filthy language etc. could be effective
in shocking people into losing their grasp of an argument. It could
also result in the opposition becoming angry to the point of losing
their cool, and that would have the same result with the possibility
that a fight would break out. We were told that we could swear, and
name call the opposition all we want, but let one of them throw the
first punch if a fight was going to start. Then we could fight back,
and if the cops came, we could claim that we just fought back in self
defence. Sadly, we did get into a number of violent fights. I am only
glad that when I was involved, it didn't go beyond fists, except on
two occasions. We won some. But we also lost some. We gave beatings,
but took some beatings also. When I look back to those young years
from my older age, I know now that it was not worth it. The
"reactionaries" started the violence. Always make the other side react
first. But it was us that goaded them into it.

I was a young idealistic, believing in a socialist utopia that we
could build here on earth. It took quite some time to realize that
such a utopia is an impossibility. We can not create "Heaven on
Earth". It can NEVER happen. Human nature will never allow it.

Of course, now at my age, and being much wiser, I realized quite
a number of years ago that socialism of any kind, totalitarianism of
any kind, extremism of any kind, is badly mistaken. Being a
Libertarian, for me, is best. Freedom, true Liberty, is worth
defending.
But I do remember the lessons of the past. And I know the
punishment that I took for being a traitor to the marxist/ socialist
cause back then.
What I see here, with Vendicar Decarian, and a
few other people, is typical dirty socialist tactics. But they are
going even a bit further then we went. They are no better then the
lower form of animals.
