No problem Bob !! I think that the antenna from Arrow is very reasonably
priced for what it is, and the company has a very good reputation. This
antenna would be quite directional. I have used a similar ham antenna in
the 2 meter (146 mhz) band, and it has very very good gain, and is quite
directional.

As others have said, height is the most important thing. But, if you can't
do that, then I think the next best thing is the yagi antenna.
