Hello to all my antenna friends. I've just now returned home after nine weeks
in the hospital following major
spinal surgery. The surgery was successful, but I contracted hideous
intestinal infection C Diff, or colitis,
in the hospital. Forty nine days were required to clear the infection, after
which I could begin physical
therapy. I'm still recuperating very slowly, learning to regain my balance
and walk again. Have you ever
wondered what it would feel like to stand up, but needing to hang onto
something stationary to avoid falling
down? And have you ever wondered what it would feel like to stand up, but
unable to move a foot to start
walking? I'm still learning how to walk, with the aid of both a walker and a
cane. Long and tough, but I'm
making it.
Hope to join you great guys again occasionally as I continue to recover.
