Not a "call sign" but the "serial number" (for lack of a better term) of
the commercial license.

I'm not trying to be picky but just to explain some of the terms. I'm
sure Bill appreciates your research...

Additionally, the GROL is issued for life (unless revoked). At least, mine
was (issued, not revoked!) ca 1983
