Good Point David - Check the back of the Radio
for an Antenna Trimmer and see if you can get
a better 'matched' between the Radio and Antenna.

TIP - Usually with an Antenna Trimmer a Small
Plastic Bladed "Tuning" Screw Driver is used
to make the process easier. Less back and
forth tweaking.

I don't think I've even seen an antenna trimmer on a car radio (at least a
factory supplied one) since digital tuning arrived on scene. (let me qualify
that a bit... there probably IS a trimmer, its just no longer accessible to
the end user, but on a PC board somewhere that only a technician with rubber
tools and a penchant for contortionism can get to it...)
