Many radios for the US market has not only the AM and FM bands but
they also have the TV band.
Can anyone explain what is the TV band ?
Can you hear to television broadcasts in that band ?
If so, could it work in Italy too ?
Thanks

Most of the TV band radios are VHF only channels. If you were lucky enough
to get one with UHF channels, you likely could hear your television audio in
Italy (assuming you still have analog audio to listen to). IIRC, Italy has
no VHF channels left on the air. A UHF model would receive audio from PAL
B/G channels above Ch. 21 (470 MHz)

BAD,

But everyone has an AM/FM Radio or two and having
the TV Audio on an "HD" FM Radio Station's HD-2
Co-Channel would put TV Audio into every Car and
Truck. Plus it solves the VHF or UHF only limit.
