all that junk pointing to elsewhere, then I wouldn't say a thing.

A proper reception report includes far more details. Your single
line "report" wouldn't get you a QSL from any station, since
there's nothing to suggest you actually did receive it, and nothing
about signal strength or the other things that a station might
be interested in hearin about.

reports were not merely about scoring QSL cards, at least not
in the early days. They were a means for a transmitting station
to get feedback, about the quality of their transmission and
the extent of their reception area.)
