Hmm. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but from what you're saying they would
actually have some directional characteristics at approx. 2.5 MHz.


Make that 250 MHz. If 6 inches is 1/8WL, then one
wavelength would be 4 feet. 984/4 = 250 MHz.
