Dear President Mahmound Ahmadineja:

On behalf of the American people I would like to sincerely apologize
for the insulting manner that you have been treated by the American

As a Head of State and guest in our country you deserved to be treated
with respect and courtesy. Instead you were met with derision and
insults premised upon lies.

Consequently the image of United States of America as arrogant,
ignorant and extremely dangerous is yet again confirmed on the world
stage.

Once again, please accept our profound apologies to you and the
Iranian people.

Your post is quite funny in light of the fact that, when Ahmadinejad
was at Columbia, he insisted that there are no homosexuals in Iran.
The audience couldn't contain its laughter.

Before Ahmadinijad spoke, I had a lot of sympathy with people who said
that Columbia was making a big mistake by letting him speak on its
campus. However, I now think they did the right thing. Ahmadinijad
made himself appear utterly bizarre and devoid of reason, and it
wasn't just Columbia University watching but the entire world. I
guarantee you that, if he ever visits the US again, he will not accept
an invitation to speak at Columbia or any comparable university.
